Rail Bike Day Trip

Looking for an unforgettable outdoor adventure near Lake George? Just a short drive away, this rail bike trip offers breathtaking views, a thrilling bridge crossing, and serene forest trails!
This 7-mile, mostly flat out-and-back adventure starts with a safety briefing and a quick intro to the Hadley area. Early in your ride, you'll cross a spectacular 500-foot-long, 90-foot-high bridge over the confluence of the Hudson and Sacandaga Rivers — one of the highlights of the trip!
On average, each leg of the trip is about 30-40 minutes of ride time with a 10-20 minute break while the hosts turn the bikes around. If you’re able to comfortably walk for 1.5 hours, then you should be able to pedal the rail bike in stride.
Please note that transportation is not provided. You will meet the group in Hadley at Revolution Rail.
